Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our APAC Accounting Team. This person will report to the Finance Manager and be in charge of ANZ scope.

Purpose of the role:
You will be working with the Finance Manager and acting as a member of the Finance team. Finance team manages the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable and receivable and group audit requirement.
- Post journal entries for accrued expenses, depreciation, amortization and other month end closing entries
- AR / AP posting & Updating financial statements
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Prepare local compliance reports as per requirement
- Customer / Vendor / Bank reconcilisation
- Assist in completing audits extractions, generate reports of financial information
- Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L accounts reconciliation, consolidation & analysis
- Assist to prepare and consolidate budget and forecast analysis reports.
- Assist to prepare the statement of cash flows at the end of each accounting period.
- System management : Maintenance of accounting system to make sure compliance with company polices and accounting standards.
- Respond to internal and external queries or requests and provide details as required
- Periodically review Data Protection regulations to ensure compliance across the organization
- Identify any areas of concern or opportunities
Skills, knowledge, experience, and exposure
- Experience of minimum 1 to 3 years in accounting
- Should be graduate in Business / Accounting / Commerce degree, with majors in accounting or finance desirable with strong knowledge foundation
- Hands-on experience in month-end and year-end closing
- Prior experience in consolidated reporting or in a MNC company with intercompany transactions is highly preferred
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in managing high volume workload in a changing environment

Role Requirements
- Hybrid in Malad Mumbai (1-2 days onsite per week)
- Being able to work in earlier time shift would be a big plus (e.g. 7AM - 4PM IST)
