Warehouse & Logistics Category Manager
Purpose of the role
Responsible for developing and executing business strategies within the Warehouse and Logistic Category This includes developing and maintaining category sourcing plans, supply chain partner relationship management, tender and pricing management and providing category expertise to local teams and support to Business Development and Account Management teams.
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
- Lead the strategic development of the category and manage sourcing activities
- Be the key contributor to sourcing plan for respective categories and control its execution
- Participate in the negotiation and contract development process (case by case, for more complex situations)
- Develop and manage partnerships with internal clients (including efficient cross-functional collaboration) and relationships with strategic suppliers
- Support tactical sourcing team in proactive work with internal clients to identify, forecast and optimise demand and standardize requirements to maximize efficiency and drive savings
- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork
- Ensure the highest level of ethical standards in relation to the strategic sourcing process
- Provide category expertise to internal customers and support Business Development and Implementation activities for the assigned categories
- Lead continuous improvement projects in warehouse and logistics operations, implementing best practices and driving efficient and innovative solutions aligned with our business objectives
- Ensure that all logistics operations comply with local and international regulations.
- Analyze market trends and category performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and warehouse and logistics partners, ensuring they adhere to all quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support and resolve logistics issues.
- Advanced in the usage of sourcing tools and proficient negotiation skills
- Coordinate the execution of new Warehouse and Logistics processes and systems.

Role Requirements
- Willingness to travel regularly to meet with suppliers, attend industry events and participate in cross-functional meetings but the positon can be done remotely from Europe.
- Fluent English level is required. Other languages preferable
- Min 5+ years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics Category Management and strategic sourcing
- Preferable bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, procurement, supply chain management or similar discipline

· Operational - Indicia Worldwide Production Center is the one in charge of performing the key operational activities. It is integrated by experienced production managers who manage all aspects of production and execution of account or project-based jobs. They work with our partners to ensure projects are purchased and executed in a way that ensures quality and competitive pricing while overseeing and executing a high volume of complex projects.
