The Director of Production for Print, POSM and Creative Production in the APAC region plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and successful campaign delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to driving efficiency and quality.
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
A highly skilled and commercial marketing production practitioner, the Production Director APAC will likely have over 10 years of experience in a professional marketing production capacity. With a track record in managing teams across markets and marketing production disciplines, she/he will be exceptional in defining, developing and activating operational capability that drives value for our clients.
The Production Director APAC will have:
Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for print, POSM, and creative production in APAC.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the production teams leaders (Heads of Production Management) in market.
- In collaboration with the Solutions team, drive innovation and continuous improvement in production processes.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the day-to-day regional operations of print, POSM, and creative production campaigns.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production teams.
- Manage and provide strategic guidance to local market heads (Heads of Production Management).
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Process Improvement and Innovation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Utilize data and technology to drive productivity / efficiency gains.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure all print, POSM, and creative production execution meet the highest quality standards.
- In collaboration with the Procurement & Supply Chain team, implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits.
- Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Risk Management
- Anticipate and track operational and tactical risks
- Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and report on operational risks.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially clients and internal peers and decisionmakers.
- Act as the most senior point of contact for strategic operational queries.
- Ensure regular and effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Contribute to the development of the strategic plan for print, POSM and creative production campaigns.
- Drive the planning and orchestration of business objectives.
- Support the growth and expansion of the company’s capabilities in the APAC region.

Role Requirements
The Production Director APAC role will have certain demands that would need to be met:
- With 10+ markets served across APAC, there is a requirement to travel in order to be visible and accessible to teams and clients.
- Whilst the contracted hours for the role are 9.00am to 5:30pm, Mon – Fri, the nature of the business requires that some meetings and engagements may happen outside of these hours to accommodate different timezones or respond to business critical situations.
- There will be an expectation to combine remote work with face to face interaction, being an example of promoting the use of our great offices.
