What you’ll do:
As part of the People & Capability team, you will contribute to the company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.
You will perform HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one business area and market.
Most importantly as part of the team you will also work collaboratively across several functional areas across the SE Asia region.
- Partners with key stakeholders to align HR strategy to business strategy.
- Acts as a change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change, striving to lead best practice models.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies.
- Provides day-to-day advice, guidance and coaching to managers on a variety of actions including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development.
- Continually champions Employee Referral Bonus program to include proactive identification of internal talent matching and advancement.
- Remains current on trends and innovative recruiting techniques to compete in the market and within industry.
- Remains current on employment legislation to relevant markets to advise and guide management during key decision-making processes.
- Provides clear, consistent advice on all casework processes including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability.
- Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrolment; etc.
- Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients.
- Identify critical roles and skills gaps and ensure robust succession planning is developed and implemented to meet organisational talent strategies.
- All other duties assigned as appropriate by the Head of P&C APAC
What you'll bring:
- Educated to degree level
- Member of HR professional institution is desirable
- 4 years’ of experience in an HRBP or Senior Advisory position at the regional level
- Demonstrable experience in providing strategic HR advice to various management levels and capacity to plan, lead, and negotiate
- Knowledge of industry and professional best practices and application
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment and employee relations
- High proficiency in English language both written and verbal
